Let me introduce myself

Coddiwomple:

(v) To travel in a purposeful manner towards a vague destination.

That is my everything.

Regarding kids: Having kids was a purposeful decision with a vague destination. If I knew then what I know now, I would like to think I'd make the same decisions. My children are amazing and frustrating and life defining. I think I've oversold the overwhelming aspect of raising children because all 4 say they never want kids!! That is a little frightening and a little ok with me. I have no clue where our destination is.

Regarding wine: Drinking wine has been a purposeful decision. The destination is still unknown. Like all classy, uneducated palettes, I started with the White Zinfandel twist off bottles in my 20's. I moved into Merlots without any research or education. Tip toed into the Reislings, then found myself looking around the Chardonnays. Finally, I found myself drinking glasses of red wines with Pinot Noir and Malbecs being a favorite.

My palette on life includes throwing my kids into unknown situations, wandering down random roads and picking up any bottle of wine to try. Sometimes it turns out great and sometimes you dump it down the drain while laughing.

Please comment and enjoy my explorations as I randomly wander through my 40's.
